GPS Gadgetry

GPS is frowned during the rally upon because plotting in lots of your route in advance was against the spirit of being an adventurer. Even if you didn’t agree with that then surely 10,000 miles of being told “Drive East” would mean the GPS would end up out of the window before you got very far. So no GPS.

But what we will be taking with us is a ‘Spot messenger’ which is a GPS transmitter. Being a transmitter and not a receiver it won’t be of any help to us, but what it will do it is allow people to see where we are on our website.
